Gita Daily stores two kinds of information: content on your device (the verses you save, your streak and reading activity) and a small account record on our server (your phone number, an account identifier and your subscription status). You can delete both.
1. Delete the content on your device
- Clear app data: open your phone’s Settings → Apps → Gita Daily → Storage → Clear data. This permanently erases the verses you saved and your streak.
- Uninstall the app: removing Gita Daily from your device also deletes all of its on-device data.
2. Delete your account and server data
To delete the account record we hold (your phone number, account identifier and subscription status), email hustlingmadrasi@gmail.com from a device signed in to the app, or include the phone number you use to sign in, and ask us to delete your account.
We will verify the request and permanently delete your account data within 30 days. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it first (in the app or by asking us) so it does not renew. Payment records held by our payment provider, Razorpay, are retained by them only as required by law and their own policies.
Once deleted, your account and data cannot be recovered.
