These terms govern your use of Gita Daily (“the app”), provided by Hustling Madrasi (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Gita Daily on devices you own or control, for personal use, for as long as you hold a valid subscription.
2. The app is provided “as is”
The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. The verse explanations are offered for reflection and general understanding, and are not a substitute for scholarly or professional advice.
3. Your account
You sign in with your phone number, which is verified by a one-time code and serves as your account identity. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone number secure. Your subscription is linked to this account, so you can restore it on a new device by signing in again.
4. Subscription, billing and cancellation
Gita Daily is an auto-renewing subscription with a 1-day trial. To start the trial we charge a refundable ₹5 to verify your payment method; this amount is refunded promptly (the time for it to appear back in your account depends on your bank). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically renews at ₹249 per month, and then once every month, until you cancel. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Payments are collected by our payment provider, Razorpay Software Private Limited. By starting the subscription you authorise Razorpay to charge the renewal amount to your selected payment method on each billing date.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from within the app or by emailing hustlingmadrasi@gmail.com. When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and partial periods are not refunded (the ₹5 verification charge is refunded as described above). If you were charged in error, contact us at hustlingmadrasi@gmail.com and we will look into it.
We may change the subscription price or features. We will give reasonable notice of any price change, and it will only apply to billing periods after the change.
5. Content and intellectual property
The Sanskrit verses of the Bhagavad Gita are in the public domain. The English translations, explanations and the design of the app are our original work and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hustling Madrasi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the app.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it for unlawful purposes, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.
8. Changes
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
