Offline Cash Book (“the app”) is designed to respect your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
Information we collect
The app has no accounts and never asks for personal details such as your name, email or phone number. To understand how the app is used and to improve it, we collect anonymous usage and diagnostic data — see “Analytics” below.
Where your data is stored
Offline Cash Book stores your cash transactions (amounts, categories, notes and dates) only on your own device. This content never leaves your phone. If you uninstall the app, it is removed with it.
Analytics
The app uses Mixpanel, a third-party analytics service, to collect anonymous usage information — such as which features are used, in-app events, your app settings, the app version, and general device/app information. This helps us fix issues and improve the app.
This data is not used to identify you personally, and we do not collect the content you enter into the app (for example your water logs, cash entries, attendance records or calculations).
You can turn analytics off at any time in the app’s Settings (“Share anonymous usage data”). Mixpanel processes this data on our behalf — see the Mixpanel privacy policy.
Permissions
The app does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, storage, or any other sensitive device permission.
Apart from sending anonymous analytics (which you can disable), the app’s core features work offline.
Third-party services
The app uses Mixpanel for anonymous analytics, as described above. It uses no advertising networks and no other tracking services.
Children
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Deleting your data
See Delete your data for step-by-step instructions, and use the Settings toggle to stop analytics collection.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new “Last updated” date.
